Solar Soilless Cultivation

Solar Soilless Cultivation

To use HARVEST solar irrigation system and HARVEST solar greenhouse soilless cultivation technology, you can follow the steps below:

HARVEST solar water pump systems

1. Design a solar greenhouse: Select the appropriate type of greenhouse, such as plastic film greenhouse or glass greenhouse, and determine the required size and layout. Make sure the greenhouse has good insulation and light transmission to maximize the use of solar energy.

2. Install solar panels: Choose an appropriate location to install solar panels on or around the greenhouse roof. Make sure the solar panels receive enough sunlight and convert it into electricity. The angle of the solar panels should be adjusted according to the local latitude to obtain the best solar conversion efficiency.

3. Connect the battery and controller: Use cables to connect the solar panel to the battery pack to store the electricity generated during the day. The battery pack is then connected to a controller that monitors the charge of the battery pack and controls the operation of the irrigation system.

4. Install water pumps and irrigation equipment: Install solar water pumps in the greenhouse or near a nearby water source. The water pump draws the water source into the irrigation system. For soilless cultivation, hydroponic or aerosol irrigation systems can be used. Hydroponic systems use a mixture of nutrients and water to supply plant roots. Aerosol irrigation systems deliver water and nutrients to plants through sprayers.

5. Set the controller and sensor: Set the parameters of the controller and the irrigation plan according to the needs of the planted plants. The daily irrigation time, water volume and nutrient solution concentration can be set. Environmental sensors such as soil moisture sensors, temperature sensors, and light sensors are installed to monitor environmental conditions and plant needs in the greenhouse. The controller will automatically adjust irrigation and nutrient supply based on sensor feedback.

6. Planting plants: Prepare a cultivation medium suitable for soilless cultivation, such as rock wool, castor mat, air bag, etc. Place seeds or seedlings in soilless growing trays or containers and place them in the growing medium. Make sure the plant roots are getting enough water and nutrients.

7. Run and monitor the system: After confirming that the system is set up and connected correctly, start the solar irrigation system and the greenhouse soilless cultivation system. The system will automatically perform irrigation and nutrient supply based on preset parameters and sensor data. Regularly check the environmental conditions in the greenhouse and adjust the controller parameters as needed to achieve optimal growth.

8. Maintenance and management: Clean the solar panel regularly to ensure its surface is clean and does not affect the light absorption efficiency. Check and maintain the normal operation of equipment such as pumps, controllers and sensors. Monitor the growth of plants and deal with pests and diseases or other problems in time.

By trialling HARVEST solar irrigation system and solar greenhouse soilless cultivation technology, solar-driven smart irrigation and soilless cultivation production can be realized. This approach can improve energy efficiency, reduce water waste, and provide a good growth environment to promote plant growth and yield.
